Dear Users and Enthusiasts(no matter you own a DrunkDeer keyboard or not),
We regret that we are connecting with you again under these circumstances. Today, we are reaching out to address an important matter concerning some past blog posts published on the DrunkDeer website.
Several months ago, a blog titled "DrunkDeer vs Competitors: Magnetic Switch Keyboard Comparison” was shared in our official blog section; It incorrectly stated that the DrunkDeer A75 Ultra keyboard utilizes a TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) sensor (A few blogs also pointed out the above incorrect factor during this period). This information is, in fact, inaccurate.
Regrettably, this post was published in August without undergoing our tech team’s review process. This error was brought to our attention earlier today—December 16, 2025—by a user named EddieG (Alias) through our customer service system. Eddie rightly pointed out that such misinformation could mislead consumers. We extend our sincerest gratitude to EddieG for his vigilance and honesty, and we offer our genuine apologies to him and to anyone who may have been affected by this mistake. We fully acknowledge that the claim regarding the use of a TMR sensor in the A75 Ultra is incorrect.
Our company takes this oversight extremely seriously. Following an internal review, we determined that a former employee responsible for content creation—who has since left the company in late August—used AI-assisted tools to generate the blog post while lacking sufficient technical understanding and language proficiency in the field of Hall effect keyboards. As a result, incorrect comparisons were made, and false claims were disseminated. This not only misled our customers but also damaged our reputation by creating an impression of dishonest marketing.
We deeply regret this failure in our internal oversight and content validation process. Moving forward, DrunkDeer is committed to strengthening our internal management protocols and implementing stricter controls over all published materials to prevent any recurrence of such issues.
We also wish to take this opportunity to clarify: Outside of the aforementioned blog post, DrunkDeer has never marketed the A75 Ultra as featuring a TMR sensor. In all other official communications, we have consistently stated that the A75 Ultra employs a traditional Hall effect sensor—specifically, an AMR (Anisotropic Magnetoresistance) sensor, which is widely used across the industry.
We are committed to learning from this experience, correcting our errors, and regaining your trust. Your confidence in us is invaluable, and we hope you can understand and forgive this lapse as we continue to improve.
Our mission remains unchanged: Try our best to create magnetic switch keyboards that truly unleash your potential!
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Sincerely,
The DrunkDeer Team
